Newsprint can be cut up to 60″ rolls and sheets with basis weights ranging from 27# to 30#. Standard sheet size is 24″ x 30″ or 24″ x 36″. Most Newsprint is soft folded, flat packed, packed in bundles of 1,000 sheets, and run through a shrink tunnel for packaging. Econostuffing basis weights range from 25# to 50# and has a smooth finish on the sheet.
Typical End Users of Newsprint
The most common use is in the moving and storage industries for wrapping clients’ possessions for protection. Small industrial products are wrapped for inter-packaging of corrugated cases. Product is used to interleave glass and mirrors. Restaurants use Newsprint to cover tables. Product is also excellent for dunnage/stuffing.
Most of our “roll” products have a core and plug.
